Updates the preview samples to the packages published to nuget.org on October 16, 2026.
Package updates
IdentityServer/v8/StorageIdentityServer/v8/UserManagement/AccountLockoutIdentityServer/v8/SpacesStorage 2.0.0-preview.5 is skipped on purpose. The other User Management samples (GettingStarted, PasswordRegistration, FullSample) use the stable 1.x packages and are unchanged.
API migrations
services.AddSpaces()plusConfigure<SpacesOptions>(...)becomes.AddSpaces(spaces => spaces.FallbackToDefault = true)afterAddStorage(...).Documentation.mdfor Spaces shows the new registration, theAddSpaces(storageInstanceId, configure)overload,PartitionDataProtection(on by default) withGetUnpartitioned(), and that Spaces no longer registers a defaultHybridCache.UseSpacesResolution()toUseSpaceResolution()in the Spaces README and docs (the method name was already wrong before this update).Storage and AccountLockout needed no code changes.
Testing
dotnet build -c Release: Spaces.slnx (app, AppHost, Playwright tests), Storage.csproj and AccountLockout.slnx build with no errors.dotnet run -c Releaseand answered 200 on/and/.well-known/openid-configuration.
