Pins every
runs-on: ubuntu-latestin.github/workflowstoubuntu-24.04. GitHub began migratingubuntu-latestto Ubuntu 26.04 on October 19, 2026, and the 26.04 images no longer provide several of the older language versions in our test matrix, so CI started failing at setup. This restores the previous runner behavior (and keeps all client libraries consistent) until a separate modernization effort updates our supported versions.No other changes.
