Inditex is an international fashion firm where collaboration, innovation, and technology have always been at the core of the business. We build in the open, share the tools and libraries we believe can help others, and collaborate with the community to push the boundaries of fashion retail technology.
From our commitment to offer superior quality, greater efficiency, and more sustainable processes in every phase of our activity, Inditex considers Open Source Software as a relevant path for the future.
We believe the best technology is built in the open. That is why we publish the projects we think can help others, give back to the communities whose work powers our own innovation, and engage with contributors transparently and respectfully. The values that guide everything we release are set out in our Manifesto.
Our projects are open to everyone, whether you want to report a bug, suggest an improvement, or submit code. The best place to start is the README of the project you are interested in. Each repository documents its own scope, setup, and the kind of contributions it is looking for.
When you contribute for the first time, you will be asked to sign our Contributor License Agreement. Across every repository we share a common set of guidelines so that collaboration stays consistent and welcoming:
- Contribution guidelines: how we work with issues and pull requests
- Code of conduct: what we expect from everyone taking part
- Security policy: how to report a vulnerability responsibly
- Contributor License Agreement: the one-time agreement every first-time contributor signs
Our open source activity is coordinated by Inditex's Open Source Office (OSO). Every project published under this organization goes through a review before release to make sure it meets our quality, licensing, and security standards.
Have a question, an idea, or want to collaborate? Write to us at oso@inditex.com or open an issue in our FOSS repository, and a member of our team will get back to you.
