Leaf Client is a free client and launcher for Minecraft: Java Edition. It comes with 35+ mods built in and supports 16 Minecraft versions on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, on Windows, macOS and Linux. Every gameplay feature is free.

There is no mods folder to manage. The launcher sets up Fabric, Forge or NeoForge and the Leaf mod for you, and you turn the mods you want on or off in game. Leaf Client is in beta, and updates are posted first on Discord.

• 35+ built-in mods. Keystrokes, Minimap, Freelook, Zoom and more. Right Shift opens the mod menu in game, and each mod has its own settings.
• HUD Editor. Put the FPS counter, coordinates, armor and keystrokes where you want them, and pick your own crosshair.
• Performance. The Leaf mod has its own optimizations, and on Fabric the launcher also installs Sodium, Lithium and Entity Culling.
• Voice chat. Talk to other players without a separate mod or app.
• Waypoints, friends and servers. Waypoints with distance, a friends list, a server browser and a skin manager.
• Accounts and profiles. Microsoft and offline accounts. Each launcher profile has its own Minecraft version and loader.
• Cosmetics. Cloaks, wings, hats and auras. They are visual only and never change gameplay.
• Mod JAR. Already use another launcher? Download the standalone Leaf mod JAR instead.

Each version is built and tested on its own. Get the launcher or the mod JAR from the download page.

The launcher, the client and every gameplay feature are free. Cosmetics and Leaf+ are optional and have no effect on gameplay.

• Cosmetics come from the store. Most of them also have a Leaf Points price, and you earn Leaf Points by playing. Other players see your cosmetics if they also play with Leaf Client.
• Leaf+ is a subscription: new cosmetics every month, a custom in-game name tag, cloud sync and early access to new client builds. It costs $4.99 a month, $13.99 every 3 months or $49.99 a year, through Tebex, and you can cancel anytime.

Leaf has no cheats, only quality-of-life features. Server owners can switch off features such as Freelook and FullBright for their server over a plugin channel. See Server control in the docs.

With Server Connect, your server can add its own menu, buttons, panels and live information to Leaf Client. Players who do not use Leaf see nothing. Server Connect is in beta. Start with the Server Connect docs and the Java SDK below.
