Network streams now arrive whole, and a stream mapped by its sender reaches the LEDs in one copy on any layout. A new Picture service and Picture effect lay the groundwork for video sources, and the FSEQ player has its module. Uploads stream without ever blocking the lights, the Teensy resolves host names and uploads ten times faster, and the web installer handles a wrong WiFi password and late device defaults without a reflash.

Network streams (Art-Net, E1.31, DDP)

  • Receive: Network Receive drains packets in a task on core 1 and reports packets_per_s and frames_per_s. mapped_by takes frames the sender already mapped (xLights, FSEQ, Network Send).
  • One copy (G5): a sender-mapped stream alone on its layer goes straight to the output on any layout. On the S3 at 64x64 serpentine the tick fell from 5.83 to 2.96 ms. Under a mirror or transpose the frame is placed by the layout's positions, so the modifier transforms it.
  • Send: Network Send paces a frame's packets (packet_gap, 500 us by default) from a send task. P4 to P4 went from 8 to 19 frames/s to 26 to 36.
  • Fixed: a PSRAM race in TryLock that froze the receive task and took WiFi down; the UDP mailbox is 32 on every board, and the P4 has 30 Ethernet receive buffers.

Streams groundwork

  • Channel-data sink (G6): holds, places and copies channel data for Network Receive and the new FseqPlayerEffect, a registered stub (file, loop, speed) whose file reading is TouchMyLight's contribution.
  • Pictures (G3, G4): PictureService publishes a picture in Audio's pattern, with the PM5544 test card as its first source and two pictures swapped for a source writing from its own task (the groundwork for feature: Capture video from a USB grabber on the ESP32-P4 #139's USB capture). PictureEffect samples it per light: fit, fill or stretch, point or area in linear light.
  • Contributor how-to (G7): adding a picture or channel-data source. The Streams plan adds G8, the browser as a picture source.

Uploads and the Teensy

  • Every upload, to flash or SD, streams through the transfer slots a slice per tick, so a slow client can no longer freeze the lights or trip the watchdog.
  • Teensy 4.1: host names resolve without blocking the loop, and a QNEthernet receive-window patch makes a 1 MB upload take 4.8 s instead of 30.

Installer, WiFi and audio

  • The installer waits for each acknowledgement and resends what the board refused, so a device model lands whole. A failed WiFi join brings the form back with the reason, "Apply device defaults now, without flashing" configures a running board, and the erase shows a progress estimate.
  • WiFi gets 10 s to join plus 15 s for the lease once joined, so a slow router no longer drops a joined board to its access point, and a wrong password is reported in about 12 s.
  • S3 and P4 boards log on their native USB port in the standard build.
  • ES7210 microphones beside the ES8311, behind an MM_AUDIO_CODEC gate, and the Waveshare ESP32-S3-RGB-Matrix device model.
  • MoonDeck: fseq_play writes and plays FSEQ over DDP; the monitor raises only its own board's log level.

Checks

  • Each commit ran its gates once, with the Reviewer's findings processed in the commits.
  • Pre-merge: the Reviewer over the branch and the full check list are running; CodeRabbit and CI findings are processed on the branch.

Verified on hardware

  • Teensy 4.1: uploads at 214 KB/s with no retransmits, host names resolving.
  • S3 and P4 receiving and sending in all four pairings over WiFi and Ethernet; the S3's one-copy tick with fseq_play.
  • Waveshare ESP32-S3-RGB-Matrix: install with a wrong and then a right password, defaults applied without flashing, the test card fitted, filled and stretched on its HUB75 panel, BeatRipples on the whole palette, the ES7210 microphone reacting.
  • FSEQ playback is the contribution, so the player's stub has nothing to verify yet.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Network lighting senders can pace packets to help receivers keep up, with a configurable packet gap. Network receivers can choose sender- or receiver-based mapping and display live packet and frame rates.
    • Live scenarios can now target multiple boards and collect board-specific measurements.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Hostname lookups can make progress without blocking rendering when background task creation is unavailable.
    • File transfers now support shared handling across storage. Uploads check available space and size limits before starting, and transfers report setup failures or when both slots are occupied.
  • Documentation
    • Clarified that hostname-to-address caching occurs without blocking rendering.

Every file upload, to flash or to the SD card, now streams a slice per tick, so a slow client can no longer freeze the lights or reboot the board through the watchdog. On the Teensy, host names in NetworkSend, OSC, audio sync and MIDI resolve, and uploads run ten times faster after a QNEthernet flow-control fix. Two new plans: streams (pictures, recorded shows and live input) and audio-reactive live performance.

**Core**
- HttpServerModule: the SD transfer slots become file transfers for every upload and every /sd download, on every board; the buffer lives from claim to finish in internal RAM; one checked entry for both storages (413, 503, 507); every POST /api/file hands off as soon as its headers arrive; the synchronous flash upload is gone.
- HostResolver: a board with no worker task looks names up from the asking side, one non-blocking step per lookup, sharing due() and settle() with the task's pass.
- Platform seam resolveHostStep: QNEthernet's callback DNS on the Teensy with a generation counter and its own timeout; ESP32 and desktop answer Failed, since their task resolves.
- Teensy: QNEthernet patch opening the TCP receive window as the sketch reads instead of on copy; a 1 MB upload went from 30 s with 35% retransmits to 4.8 s with none (bench Teensy 4.1-NE).

**Tests**
- unit_HttpServerModule_upload: a 20 KB flash upload lands whole, a stalled client never holds a tick and leaves no file, an oversized one gets 413; the stall test fails against the old synchronous drain (one tick took 5,081 ms).
- unit_HostResolver: names resolve across non-blocking steps, and a failed name retries only when due; both fail without the inline step.
- http_loopback.h: the loopback helpers the SD and upload tests share.

**Docs/CI**
- New plans: Streams, every frame from outside (two families meeting in the layer, image and wiring order, the groundwork), and Audio reactive live performance (MIDI frame, keys and drums effects, tracking musicians with mmWave radar, sensor table with prices).
- present/index.md: the Next list; backlog: the two shipped Teensy items removed; supporting.md: HostResolver line; Teensy plan: release install and network update verified.
- TeensyImage.h: its header comment cut to the group lead; metrics refreshed.

**Reviews**
- 👾 transfer buffer could land in PSRAM: done, allocInternal.
- 👾 out of memory answered as 503: done, claimTransfer answers 503 or 507 in one place.
- 👾 Next item described shipped work: done, it now names the open half (downloads).
- 👾 "Verified" in an unbuilt plan: done, "Verify".
- 👾 dead hasSdCard guards: done, removed.
- 👾 the DNS step allocates on the asking thread: done, stated in the seam comment.
- 👾 flash downloads still synchronous: deferred, a third concurrent read would get 503 with two slots; recorded as Next item 3.
- Gates: check_docgen and check_code failed once (comment lengths, the test helpers' duplication, TeensyImage.h missing from the last baseline); fixed and rerun, both below baseline. ESP32 classic, S3 and P4 and the Teensy built; check_esp32_built passed for all three.

frames. Update the unit-test description to include two note-on/note-off cycles
for one pitch between frames.
- Line 115: Update the ToF zone-grid prerequisite in the plan to require a
measured VL53L8CX read strategy that does not stall the render thread; evaluate
suitable options such as SPI, a lower ranging rate, or moving reads off the
render core rather than requiring a non-blocking read specifically.

the base layout mapping, before layer modifiers are applied; preserve modifier
transforms in the subsequent layer mapping so mirror and rotation do not cancel.
Add a non-identity modifier case to the acceptance checks, and lower the
severity to minor because this is a plan defect rather than a runtime
regression.

Lights streamed over Art-Net, E1.31 or DDP now arrive whole far more often: Network Receive drains packets as they come and reports packets and frames per second, and Network Send spaces its packets so access points and Ethernet receivers keep up. A board receiving a stream no longer loses its network to a stuck latch, and a new mapped_by setting takes frames the sender already mapped (xLights, FSEQ, Network Send).

Commit: src +504/-147 lines | test +4779/-8 lines | code findings 1632 -> 1629 (blocking call on the render path -2, large stack frame -1) | duplicated lines 3656 -> 3654 (-2)

**Core**
- TryLock releases with an exchange: on an ESP32 with PSRAM a plain store raced the emulated read-modify-write and left the latch set with no owner, which froze the receive task and took the WiFi stack down with it.
- Platform: UdpSocket::waitReadable (select on desktop and ESP32, none on the Teensy) and sleepUs on a worker task (a one-shot esp_timer on the ESP32), so a task waits on sockets and paces below the scheduler tick without busy-waiting.
- CONFIG_LWIP_UDP_RECVMBOX_SIZE 6 -> 32 on every board; P4 Ethernet DMA 30 receive buffers of 1600 bytes, transmit kept at 10 (30 rebooted a sending P4).
- Teensy: an in-flight host-name lookup is abandoned on an Ethernet drop, so a reconnect resolves afresh.

**Light domain**
- Network Receive: a receive task on core 1, mapped_by (receiver or sender) with the path in the status ("one copy" or "mapped twice"), read-only packets_per_s and frames_per_s per second of elapsed time.
- MappingLUT::gatherFromPhysical places a sender-mapped frame, 7.3 -> 4.5 ms at 12,288 lights on the S3.
- Network Send: packet_gap (default 500 us) paces a frame's packets from a send task, clamped to fit the fps period, with a backoff on a full transmit queue; a gap of 0 or a board without tasks sends the burst from the tick.
- DdpPacket names the push flag, and its parser reports it.

**Scripts/MoonDeck**
- run_live_scenario: --board NAME=HOST for scenarios over several boards, steps marked with a device, read values on measure steps, observations keyed by the board combination, every board restored.

**Tests**
- Receive: sender and receiver mapping on serpentine, 3D and identity layouts, the status path, the counters and their per-second rate.
- Send: a gap spaces the packets from a task, a gap of 0 bursts from the tick, a long gap fits the fps period, a correction that grows the buffer under a paced send.
- Scenarios: scenario_NetworkReceive_two_boards (sizes, layouts, mapping, layers, protocols) and scenario_NetworkSend_one_sender_many_receivers, run on S3 WiFi and P4 Ethernet in all four pairings and on the Teensy.

**Docs/CI**
- Cards for mapped_by, the counters and packet_gap; testing.md on several boards; the Streams plan records where it stands, G5 (sender mapping skips the board's mapping), the channel-data sink FSEQ shares, and a backlog from the measurements; backlog-light gains the identity correction.
- CLAUDE.md: the contributed pull request size rule, which removes nothing since it states a limit the review process already implied; "Each check runs once per commit" as the gate rule's headline.

**Reviews**
- 👾 corrected_ reallocated under the running send task: done, resizeCorrected stops and restarts it; regression test added.
- 👾 waits reachable from non-blocking ticks: done, the pause and backoff live only in sendFrame<true>, the lock wait only in drainSockets<true>.
- 👾 single-core comments contradicted the platform: done.
- 👾 mangled include comment: done.
- 👾 torn destination address across cores: done, no refresh while the task sends.
- 👾 rate window not reset on prepare: done.
- 👾 mapped_by without an enum: done, MappedBy.
- 👾 two paragraphs run together in testing.md: done.
- 👾 dashes in edited files: done, an em-dash in a test name and six ranges in drivers.md.
- 👾 the push flag read beside the parser, a stale drain-bound name: done, the parser reports it; kMaxPacketsPerDrain.
- 👾 effectiveGap arithmetic: done, the same chunk as sendFrame, the bound commented.
- 👾 the passthrough send path undocumented: done.
- 👾 the PR-size rule names no subtraction and the stacked-PR sentence had two homes: the rule removes nothing (said above); the plan now links CLAUDE.md.
- 👾 a fixed wait in a loopback test: done, it polls on the last packet landing.
- 🐇 Teensy lookup survives an Ethernet drop: done.
- 🐇 MidiFrame loses repeated hits of one pitch: done, ordered events, tested with two cycles.
- 🐇 ToF read could stall the render task: done, a measured read is now a prerequisite.
- 🐇 G1 inverts modifiers too: done in the plan; the code inverts the whole mapping, so G5 (next commit) inverts the layout's mapping alone, with rotated and mirrored tests.
- Gates: check_prose, check_docgen, check_code and two rate tests failed on the first run (long sentences, over-wide comments, test clones, the rate window against the test clock); fixed and rerun, all below baseline. ESP32 classic, S3 and P4 rebuilt and fresh; the Teensy built and verified on the bench.

Microseconds. `?` marks a cell backed by fewer than 4 samples, which is a first impression rather than a percentile; several are months old and were captured during a network reconfigure, so they read as whole milliseconds. `-` means that target has never run that scenario.

**Coverage: 108/209 cells measured (51%), 27 of them with 4+ samples (12%).** The blanks are the point: a regression on a target that has never run a scenario cannot be DETECTED in it, and the target cannot be compared against the others. Filling the matrix means running the scenario suite on each bench board, which is a standing task rather than a one-off.

Reconcile the 4+ sample count.

Line 119 reports 28 cells with at least four samples, but the scenario table has 29 unmarked cells. This makes the generated coverage summary inconsistent with its table. Regenerate the report and correct the stale measurement or report output. The renderer in moondeck/check/repo_health.py, Lines 705-740, uses the same n >= 4 threshold for the marker and the 4+ count.

A stream mapped by its sender (xLights, FSEQ, Network Send) now reaches the LEDs in one copy on any layout, halving the S3's tick at 64x64, and a modifier on its layer transforms it. A new Picture service and Picture effect show a test card on any layout, fitted, filled or stretched, ready for USB capture and a browser source to feed them. The installer resends settings the board refused, lets a mistyped WiFi password be corrected in place, and applies a device's defaults without reflashing.

KPI: 256lights | Desktop:2326KB | tick:6/9/7/2/12/8/274/7/14/14us(FPS:166666/111111/142857/500000/83333/125000/3649/142857/71428/71428) | src:331(84711) | test:243(55778) | functions-over:353

**Core**
- PictureFrame and PictureService (G3): a picture source in Audio's pattern, the PM5544 test card drawn at any size, a Reader that holds the picture for one gather, and two pictures swapped by pointer for a source writing from its own task, degrading to one locked picture when the second does not fit (the groundwork #139's USB capture lands on).
- WiFi join window shared by NetworkModule and the Improv answer (JoinWindow.h): 10 s to join, plus 15 s for the lease once joined, so a slow router no longer drops a joined board to its access point, and a wrong password is reported in about 12 s instead of an installer timeout.
- Platform: wifiStaAssociated() on ESP32, desktop and the no-WiFi stub; the USB-Serial-JTAG console moved onto the driver, so S3 and P4 boards log on their native USB port in the standard build.
- ES7210 microphone codec beside the ES8311, behind a new MM_AUDIO_CODEC Kconfig gate (on for S31, P4 and the Waveshare ESP32-S3-RGB-Matrix image), so boards with an INMP441-style mic carry no codec library.

**Light domain**
- G5: Layer::wiringSource decides when a wiring-order frame goes straight to the output, and Drivers copies it there; on the S3 at 64x64 serpentine the tick fell from 5.83 to 2.96 ms. Under a static modifier the frame is placed by the layout's positions (Layer::placeByLayout), so a mirror or transpose transforms it.
- G6: ChannelDataSink holds, places and copies channel data for Network Receive and the new FseqPlayerEffect, a registered stub with file, loop and speed that reads no file yet (TouchMyLight's contribution).
- G4: PictureEffect samples the picture per light, fit, fill or stretch, point or area in linear light, from separable range tables refilled without allocating.
- Drivers composites through one composite() helper; BeatRipples walks the whole palette, its index wrapping with height and shifting per stone.

**UI**
- Installer: stop-and-wait APPLY_OP that reads the board's replies and resends a refused or unanswered document; a WiFi form that comes back with the reason after a failed join; "Apply device defaults now, without flashing"; an erase progress bar estimated at 3 s per MB.
- Tooltips for the picture and recorded-show emoji.
- Waveshare ESP32-S3-RGB-Matrix device model: ES7210 audio and BeatRipples as its default effect.

**Scripts/MoonDeck**
- fseq_play: writes and plays uncompressed FSEQ v2 over DDP, the reference sender for FSEQ.
- monitor_esp32 raises only the board on its port to Info, in the background, restores it on exit or SIGTERM, and opens the port without asserting DTR/RTS; collect_kpi raises only its own board and says when none is registered.
- screenshot_modules lets the device name the modules it adds, which the 15-character name limit refused for long type names.

**Tests**
- G5: pass-through on serpentine and 3D layouts, a mirror and a transpose on sender-mapped frames, both failing with the placement switched off.
- PictureService: the test card's landmarks, the generation, the empty frame, and a writer task racing a reader with two pictures and with one, both reading every picture whole (the one-picture case fails with its lock removed).
- PictureEffect: point against area by hand, fit, fill and stretch, a cube, no resampling without a new picture; FseqPlayerEffect: its output path and status; BeatRipples: the palette spread; NetworkModule: the join window and a rejoin after a dropout; installer reply parsing.

**Docs/CI**
- Streams plan: G3 to G7 built, G8 (the browser as a picture source) added with recording and baking as follow-ups; the how-to for adding a picture or channel-data source (G7); cards and images for Picture, FseqPlayer and the new Network Receive card.
- CLAUDE.md: every pull request is based on main, the one exception a step of a larger topic.

**Reviews**
- 👾 the background log-level raise could hold the port for about 75 s on an unreachable board: fixed, it stops with the monitor.
- 👾 collect_kpi skipped a board with no recorded port silently: fixed, it says so.
- 👾 wiringSource computed per frame: kept, since a state document that changes mapped_by re-prepares only the effect, so a cached answer would go stale.
- 👾 any Improv error aborted the defaults push: fixed, only "unknown RPC" means unsupported, the rest is resent.
- 👾 the two-picture writer path has no writer yet: accepted, it is #139's groundwork, built on request before this commit; the double generation bump in prepare fixed.
- 👾 FseqPlayerEffect's default dimensions override and PictureEffect's unexplained include: fixed.
- 🐇 CLAUDE.md's generated-file wording, the plan's pacing paragraph, a long test comment, an unsynchronized staging read in a test: fixed; the repo-health coverage count: not a defect, marker and summary share the n >= 4 threshold.

🟡 Minor · Check FD_SETSIZE on POSIX and stop treating a select error… · platform_desktop.cpp:2153-2169

src/platform/desktop/platform_desktop.cpp:2153-2169
🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Check FD_SETSIZE on POSIX and stop treating a select error as a timeout.

On POSIX, calling FD_SET with a descriptor at or above FD_SETSIZE is undefined behavior. A desktop process with many open files can reach that range. Skip any such descriptor. Also, when select fails with an error other than EINTR, the function returns 0 immediately. The receive loop then calls it again at once, so it spins without waiting. Wait out the timeout in that case, as the "nothing open" branch already does.

Proposed fix
     const int r = ::select(maxFd + 1, &readable, nullptr, nullptr, &tv);
-    return r < 0 ? 0 : r;
+ if (r < 0) { delayMs(timeoutMs); return 0; } // an error must not spin the receive loop
+    return r;

Explain the changed baseline timing before committing.

The current observation block already contains a 2026-10-14 rerun. Its desktop-macOS measure-baseline p50 changed from 7 µs to 8 µs, but the diff gives no reason for the change. Add the cause before committing this KPI refresh.

Fix the heading-like line at Line 318.

The static analysis hint reports MD018 for this line. The line starts with #138 and #139, so markdownlint parses it as an ATX heading with no space after the hash. The rendered page shows a heading instead of a paragraph. Rephrase the sentence so it does not start with #, or escape the first character.

Clear reused last_port values from offline records.

The discover path can keep the previous board as an offline registry record while assigning the reused port to the newly discovered board. device_ips_for_port does not filter offline records, and [:1] then selects whichever matching record sorts first. The monitor can raise the log level on the wrong board.

Clear last_port from every other record in the active network when assigning a reused port, including carried-over offline records.

Do not retry an auto-named create without reconciliation.

If the server creates a module but the response connection fails, _post retries the request. With no id, the endpoint can assign a second free name. The script tracks only the returned module, so the first module can remain in the device state and affect later captures. Before a create retry, check whether the first create succeeded, or use a stable request identity.

Keep the orphan sweep from deleting existing modules.

The new 15-character prefix can equal a valid user-assigned module name. When that name matches a listed type prefix, the opening sweep deletes the user’s module before capture. Track modules created by this tool instead of treating a type-name prefix as proof of ownership.

Set dirty_ before you release the lock.

write releases lock_ before it stores dirty_ = true. A render copy can run in that gap. The copy takes the lock, stores dirty_ = false, and copies the frame. The writer then stores true again. The next tick copies the same frame a second time. This costs one extra copy and causes no wrong output. Storing dirty_ while the lock is still held makes the ordering explicit.

Make a sampling change redraw the picture.

tick redraws only when the picture size, the picture generation or the layer generation changes. A sampling change touches none of these. With the test pattern, the generation never changes after prepare, so switching between point and area shows nothing until the next resize. This breaks the rule that every setting applies live.

🌐 Web query:

ESP-IDF 6.1 usb_serial_jtag_vfs_use_driver usb_serial_jtag_is_driver_installed official source

💡 Result:

For **ESP-IDF `release/v6.1`**, both APIs exist, but they’re declared in different headers:

- **`usb_serial_jtag_vfs_use_driver()`** is implemented in `usb_serial_jtag_vfs.c`. It switches VFS read/write/flush callbacks to use the USB Serial/JTAG driver; it does **not** install the driver itself. Install the driver first with `usb_serial_jtag_driver_install()`. ([github.com](https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/blob/release/v6.1/components/esp_driver_usb_serial_jtag/src/usb_serial_jtag_vfs.c))
- **`usb_serial_jtag_is_driver_installed()`** is declared in `driver/usb_serial_jtag.h`; it returns whether the driver is installed. The VFS source also calls it before handling `select()`. ([github.com](https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/blob/release/v6.1/components/esp_driver_usb_serial_jtag/include/driver/usb_serial_jtag.h))

The VFS source shows the intended sequence: install the driver, check for success, then call `usb_serial_jtag_vfs_use_driver()`. ([github.com](https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/blob/release/v6.1/components/esp_driver_usb_serial_jtag/src/usb_serial_jtag_vfs.c))

Switch the USB VFS when an installed driver is reused.

When usb_serial_jtag_is_driver_installed() is already true, this branch sets g_jtagReady without calling usb_serial_jtag_vfs_use_driver(). Fix the test comment and pin the black fill.

The comment says the effect "leaves the layer alone". In fact tick fills the layer with black (PictureEffect.h Line 58). Because the test reads as documentation, it describes the opposite of the actual behaviour.

Correct the comment. Also assert that a cell is black, so the test pins the fill.

… installer

The pre-merge reviews' fixes. A sender-mapped stream that shares its layer is placed by one rule, a Picture effect's sampling change shows at once, and the installer no longer pairs a late acknowledgement with the wrong chunk. The Waveshare model shows BeatRipples alone, and the smoke test checks a provisioned board's network too.

**Core**
- Desktop `waitReadable` skips descriptors past FD_SETSIZE and waits out its period on a select error rather than spinning the receive loop.
- ESP32 `sleepUs` says once when it falls back to a scheduler tick; Improv switches the console to the USB driver when the driver was installed before it too.

**Light domain**
- One placement for a sender-mapped frame the layer maps: the layout-position table, now built whenever the frame shares its layer or sits under a modifier; `MappingLUT::gatherFromPhysical` and its walk are gone (`copyLight` keeps the per-light copy).
- `ChannelDataSink::write` spins briefly before it sleeps a tick and marks staging dirty inside the lock; Picture's `sampling` redraws as `fit` does; BeatRipples' palette index in one unsigned type.

**UI**
- Installer: late replies are drained before a document is resent, so an acknowledgement never pairs with the wrong chunk.
- Waveshare ESP32-S3-RGB-Matrix model: `replace` on its Layer, so BeatRipples is its only effect.

**Scripts/MoonDeck**
- improv_smoke_test reads a provisioned board's URL from the probe, so the network step runs when provisioning keeps its credentials; fseq_play limits `--step` to the header's byte.
- screenshot_modules names each capture by its type without the role suffix, treats a retried create's 409 as done, and sweeps only the names it creates; the monitor prefers the online board on a reused port.

**Tests**
- A sender-mapped frame beside another effect reaches each light as sent (fails with the placement off); Picture shows black without a service; the smoke test's URL reading.

**Docs/CI**
- Installer README: the stop-and-wait push, the WiFi retry, apply-now and `replace` per level; the plan's status, G1 row and a heading-like line; the `packet_gap` card; the how-to's placement; the Teensy `.local` symptom in the index.

**Reviews**
- 👾 the plan's status described the state before the third commit: fixed.
- 👾 two placement mechanisms for one job: fixed, the table kept (product owner's choice).
- 👾 the `packet_gap` card recommended 0 for wired receivers against the driver's own rationale: fixed.
- 👾 a sink writer slept a whole tick on a collision: fixed, it spins first.
- 👾 the index's audio codec row is stale: deferred, its M3 status is the product owner's to state.
- 👾 a Teensy `.local` name waits without saying so: named in the index's Boards known by name item.
- 👾 `sleepUs` degraded silently: fixed, logged once.
- 🐇 late acknowledgement paired with a resent chunk, sampling not redrawing, Improv VFS on a reused driver, FD_SETSIZE and select errors, dirty_ set after the lock, the palette arithmetic, fseq `--step`, the screenshot tool's retry and sweep, the reused-port record, a heading-like plan line, two comments: fixed.
- 🐇 the repo-health coverage count: not a defect, 28 and 28; the 7 to 8 us baseline move: host noise on unchanged code.
