Send an email to anyone from inside Salesforce and include an unsubscribe link right in the email! This app will find all contacts and leads with that email address and mark them “Email opt out.” It will also create an Unsubscribe (custom object) object so you can track unsubscribes over time.
A) You must enable Digital Experiences in Setup before installation.
- Search for “Experiences” in Setup.(1)
- Click Settings under Digital Experiences.(2)
- Check 'Enable Digital Experiences'.(3)
- Save.(4)
B) If you plan to send a confirmation email, an organization wide email address needs to be set up and verified. Detailed instructions Organization-Wide Email Addresses
The UnsubscribeLink can be installed in two methods:
- As standard package (For end users & admins)
- As a metadata source code (for developers)
Email deliverability settings are not explicitly described/outlined in the installation
Create a new folder named ‘unsubscribe’ in the root folder of the repository (To silence sf code deploy errors)
