Building secure systems for a future worth protecting.
I’m Vicky Dewangan, a Forward Deployed Engineer at AccuKnox. I work where software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and security meet—helping turn complex technical systems into practical solutions.
My engineering interests center on cloud-native security, Kubernetes runtime protection, and DevSecOps. I enjoy understanding how systems behave in real environments, finding the sharp edges, and building tools and workflows that make secure engineering more achievable.
Outside the terminal, I care about the systems we all depend on: our climate, biodiversity, and shared future. I’m connected with youth and global communities working on these challenges, including YOUNGO, the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN), and HPAIR.
My north star: build technology that is resilient by design—and contribute to a world that is resilient beyond technology.

Cloud-native and security focus
These are the tools and areas I work with or focus on—not a claim that every tool is used in every project.
Technology is one system. The living world is another—and they are not separate from each other.
I’m a climate advocate interested in the work happening across climate action, biodiversity, and youth participation. My community connections include:
- YOUNGO — the youth constituency of the UN climate process.
- Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) — youth engagement around biodiversity.
- HPAIR — a global community connecting young people around ideas and leadership.
I’m interested in how technical thinking, collaboration, and youth voices can contribute to a more sustainable future. These communities are part of my broader interests; I don’t present affiliation as an official role or endorsement.
SECURE INFRASTRUCTURE × LIVING PLANET × COLLECTIVE ACTION
01 Understand the system before changing it.
02 Treat security as an engineering property, not a final checkbox.
03 Prefer useful solutions over impressive-looking complexity.
04 Stay curious, stay collaborative, keep learning.
05 Measure progress by the problems made easier for others.
06 Build for people—and remember the planet we share.
I value practical engineering, clear communication, thoughtful security, and work that has a reason to exist. I’m always interested in conversations that connect infrastructure, software, security, and climate action.
This profile is a living record of what I learn, build, and explore. I want my repositories to show the process—not just the polished outcome: the problem, the decisions, the trade-offs, and what I learned along the way.
I’m keeping this section grounded in actual work rather than listing projects or achievements that aren’t represented here yet. As projects are published, this is where I’ll highlight what they do, why they matter, and how they were built.
Have an idea around cloud-native security, Kubernetes, developer tooling, or climate and biodiversity action? I’d be happy to connect.
