docs(website): Grok Bot positioning, GitCMS links, and SEO metadata - #448
Conversation
Grok Bot opens the host animations and is described as a proactive agent rather than a chat app. The subagents pillar and MCP host docs now explain delegating its coding work to the user's existing Codex and Claude Code subscriptions. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

The docs aside gets a GitCMS card and an "Edit in GitCMS" page action that opens the current page in GitCMS's public editor preview. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The landing page now emits canonical, Open Graph, X card, theme-color, apple-touch-icon, and WebSite/SoftwareApplication JSON-LD tags, matching what Blume already emits for docs pages. Generated OG cards carry the real DevSpace mark and site palette, X attribution is set site-wide, and long page descriptions are shortened so cards and search snippets don't truncate. A corner card fronted by the Grok Bot, ChatGPT, and Claude marks links to the DevSpace skills on skills.sh. It is hidden on phones, where it would cover content. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
DevSpace connected to the agent list through one short wire that pointed at nothing. It now fans a curve to every agent row; routed curves flow while their agents run and turn solid when they complete. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Blume's generated card caps the logo at 32px and has no template hook, so a post-build step re-renders every card it generated with the DevSpace layout: the full-size mark beside the wordmark, the page title and description in the landing fonts, and a GitHub footer. Cards stay per page because the script reads each page's own og:image, title, and description. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The corner card now opens a popover with copyable install commands for the subagents and dynamic workflows skills, keeping skills.sh as a secondary link. Installs from these commands also keep the workflows skill listed on skills.sh. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Readable-spacing fixes and a SAFETY note on the cloned docs action row. These files reached main through #448, which merged before its lint check finished. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The landing page treated Grok Bot as just another chat app, even though subagents give it a strong use case: a proactive agent can hand its coding work to the Codex and Claude Code subscriptions a user already pays for instead of spending its own usage. Grok Bot now leads the host animations, is described as a proactive agent rather than a chat app, and the subagents pillar and MCP host docs explain that delegation story. The "Chat apps over MCP" docs page is renamed "Hosts over MCP" (same URL).
The docs aside gains a GitCMS card and an "Edit in GitCMS" page action that opens the current page in GitCMS's public editor preview, plus a GitCMS footer link on the landing page. Blume has no slot below its page actions, so the card and the action hang off the
TableOfContentslayout slot: CSSordermoves the card down, and a small script clones the "Edit on GitHub" row so it keeps Blume's styling and file path. The links point atapp.gitcms.devdirectly because thegitcms.devredirect currently rewrites.mdxto.md, which breaks every docs entry. For SEO, the custom landing shell now emits the canonical, Open Graph, X card, theme-color, apple-touch-icon, and WebSite/SoftwareApplication JSON-LD tags Blume already gives docs pages. Generated OG cards use the real DevSpace mark and site palette instead of a "D" placeholder, X attribution is set site-wide, and a few long descriptions were tightened so cards and search snippets stop truncating. The closing CTA also gets its punchline: "Let the model decide that."
Verified with
blume build --isolated(all 21 pages build, landing and docs JSON-LD parse, OG cards render with the logo) and screenshots of the landing, docs aside in both themes, and the GitCMS preview links for a top-level and a nested page.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
