Failure observed

On Windows CI run 39514276590, all three jobs fail during clean CMake FetchContent setup, before engine tests. The first failure is fatal: unable to read tree (2c980bb59875b0d32144a71867fbdebb2f77cd20) when checking out stb with GIT_SHALLOW TRUE. The referenced upstream commit exists, but shallow clones do not guarantee access to pinned historical SHA commits.

Fix

Keep all exact SHA pins unchanged. Remove GIT_SHALLOW TRUE from the three SHA-pinned FetchContent dependencies (stb, miniaudio, Lua) to avoid the same failure at the next provider. No product, runtime, tests, or safety rules are modified.

Validation

  • Verified all three pinned commits still exist in their upstream GitHub repositories.
  • Diff narrowly restricted to CMakeLists.txt (three shallow directives removed and an explanatory comment).
  • Await exact-head hosted Windows CI: build-test-package, release-tests, sanitizer-runtime. Do not merge on a failing or pending check.

Safety

Only this new remote fix branch was edited. Canonical local checkout, active typography worktree, historical roots, existing Git branches, user files, OS settings, and CI requirements remain untouched.
