Summary

Adds Floor rule DF-7 — Assumptions are declared before every gate to design-buddy. Right before any user gate, each skill prints an Assumptions (unconfirmed) block. It lists every unilateral assumption made so far, both the orchestrator's and any a subagent reported (e.g. the proposer's list). Each gets one line with its basis (path:line, or "no evidence — judgment"). When there are none, the block says "none" instead of being left out.

The user's answer at the gate confirms each assumption or corrects it, and the outcomes are saved in the artifacts.

DF-7 does not relax DF-1 or DF-2. A path that wasn't found still goes under ## Not found, and real ambiguity is still asked as a question rather than assumed and listed.

Changes

  • principles.md (all 3 byte-identical copies): adds DF-7.
  • design-debate: the block is shown at the first-run interview, B3 and every debate round. debate-protocol.md says when a gate choice confirms an assumption and when a steer corrects one.
  • impl-plan: the block is shown at every gate. If assumptions made after the last gate are still unconfirmed before writing, one final confirmation gate runs.
  • plan-review: the block is shown at every gate, and on a PASS that still has unconfirmed assumptions. These go in ## Review Log, never in the plan's own ## Assumptions. The DN-5 immutability rule is unchanged.
  • Templates: design.md and plan.md gain an ## Assumptions section that records each assumption's basis and outcome.
  • review-criteria.md adds two BLOCKER rows:
    • DF-7: the plan has no ## Assumptions section, or an entry in it has no outcome.
    • DF-2: a step contradicts an assumption the user corrected.
  • README: governance now lists DF-1..7, plus a 3.0.0 note.
  • Version: 2.1.0 → 3.0.0 in all three manifests.

Why major

plan-review now fails any plan that has no ## Assumptions section, so plans written by 2.x must be regenerated with impl-plan.

Verification

  • python3 scripts/validate_manifests.py --self-test and python3 scripts/validate_manifests.py pass.
  • Every plugins/*/scripts/validate.py --self-test and validator run passes. This includes design-buddy's check that the shared reference copies are byte-identical.

…y gate

Add Floor rule DF-7: immediately before every user gate, each skill lists
every unconfirmed unilateral assumption (its own and subagent-reported), one
line each with its basis, or states "none". Outcomes (confirmed /
corrected) persist to design.md and plan.md under ## Assumptions;
plan-review records its own in ## Review Log.

- principles.md (all three byte-identical copies): DF-7
- design-debate / impl-plan / plan-review SKILL.md: gate wiring + hard
constraint; impl-plan and plan-review add a final confirmation gate
when assumptions remain unconfirmed before writing
- debate-protocol: assumptions block at each round gate; steer corrects
- design.md / plan.md templates: ## Assumptions section
- review-criteria: BLOCKER when a plan lacks ## Assumptions or an entry
lacks an outcome (DF-7), or a step contradicts a corrected one (DF-2)
- Major bump: plans written by 2.x now fail plan-review
