• Progress now comes only from known formats by default: a step counter such as [3/10] or 3/10 at the start of a line, a percent, and the progress lines of common tools (npm, pip, cargo, pytest, docker, git). Dates, versions and other stray ratios no longer move the bar or the ETA.
• New option genericRatios (off by default) also reads any n/m ratio, as before. Changing it updates running rows at the next reload.
• Known limits: the README now starts with what Downrange catches and what it does not catch, and lists the limits you can hit in daily use. Every limit, including the rare ones, is in docs/usage.md.

Update: claude plugin update downrange@downrange, then start a new session or run /reload-plugins.
