Summary
Qualify the unchanged 2.2.3 native artifact with the macOS runner's installed external PHP and Composer. Fail before testing unless PHP is at least 8.2 and has pcntl and posix. The native compiler remains pinned to PHP 8.4.23 and the existing verified spc inputs. Linux keeps the centrally approved setup-php action and its PHP 8.4 configuration.
Separate dependency installation from the six real POSIX signal tests, with five-minute and three-minute step limits respectively. This preserves every signal case and makes a stalled install distinguishable from a stalled test.
Refs #39, #42 and #44.
Evidence and qualification
Run 38103663978 passes PHAR, Linux ARM including all six signal cases, and Windows. Mac external-PHP setup times out after ten minutes even with the supported watchdog opt-out. Completed logs record the opt-out and timeout, but do not identify the underlying Homebrew operation. Linux x86 remains in the combined installation/test step and is unqualified. The failed qualification is stopped before retrying with a changed control.
The official macOS runner inventory includes PHP and Composer. Their actual paths, versions and extensions are checked in the job, rather than assumed from that inventory. All six native signal cases remain required on each POSIX platform. The source/tag remains
2e0fd758126a24651b274c3a60735ce0a8745b43. No published tag or asset changes are made by this PR. Run normal checks, then the protected release qualification from the reviewed main control.
