Summary

Replaces the README's demo GIF (and its hotlinked public/ copy, same file, stored once) with the OpenScreen 2 editor: one click restyles the whole video, a sentence deleted in the transcript cuts it from the video, and the editor's agent adds a zoom on every click. The alt text says the same.

before after
size 720x406 960x540
frame rate 12 fps 20 fps
length 25.1 s 12.8 s
weight 5.1 MB 4.7 MB

Built from the website's demo loops (real exports of the app), joined by dissolves, with the end dissolving into the start so the loop never jumps (scene-cut detector: no cut; one 7.2 score at 2.2 s is the click that swaps the background in the app). Two-pass palette GIF, 64 colours, bayer dither, verified against its master for frame timing (0.00%) and against a 5 MB budget, with the openscreen-demo-production recipe. A version ending on the 3D camera was tried and dropped: its motion and gradients took the GIF to 8.8 MB.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated the README demo image description to reflect restyling, transcript-based cuts, and agent-added zooms instead of wallpaper and video effects or chat-assisted editing.

The GIF showed the editor as it was in August. It now shows the current one,
built from the website's demo loops (which are real exports of the app):
one click restyling the whole video, a sentence deleted in the transcript
cutting the video, and the editor's agent adding a zoom on every click.

960 px wide at 20 fps instead of 720 px at 12, 12.8 s, 4.7 MB against
5.1 MB. Shots are joined by dissolves and the end dissolves into the start,
so the loop never jumps. Built and verified (frame timing against the
master, size budget) with the openscreen-demo-production recipe.

The public/ copy, kept for pages that hotlink it, gets the same file, so
git stores the bytes once.
