Features and Changes

Regenerates against the latest spec and ships it as a major, overriding Speakeasy's patch. The spec adds POST /v2/dashboards and deprecates the v1 create, and the major is also the window for the renames below.

⚠️ dashboards create now targets v2, which requires --owner under an org secret key. The v1 behavior stays as the deprecated dashboards create-v1.

  • The 12 remaining raw-operationId leaves are renamed, e.g. teams add-team-members → teams add-members (full table in CHANGELOG.md).
  • snapshots create-snapshot is removed as a duplicate of experiments create-snapshot.
  • The module path moves to /v3 in the patches, hand-written Go and npm/README.md.
  • --owner is added to dashboards update, and dashboard output gains owner/ownerEmail.

Testing

  • growthbook --version and --usage report 3.0.0 on a built binary
  • -X github.com/growthbook/cli/v3/internal/customcfg.Version=… resolves (ldflags not silently dropped)
  • dashboards create --help shows --owner; create-v1 prints the deprecation notice

The command surface changed in this regeneration. The golden was stale and has been refreshed automatically.

{+growthbook dashboards create-dashboard-v2  [--blocks --body --comparison --edit-level --enable-auto-updates --experiment-id --global-controls --owner --projects --share-level --title --update-schedule --update-schedule.cron --update-schedule.cron.cron --update-schedule.stale --update-schedule.stale.hours]+}
growthbook dashboards update  [--blocks --body --comparison --edit-level --enable-auto-updates --global-controls --id {+--owner+} --projects --share-level --title --update-schedule --update-schedule.cron --update-schedule.cron.cron --update-schedule.stale --update-schedule.stale.hours]

- dashboards create -> POST /v2/dashboards; v1 moves to create-v1 (deprecated).
  v2 requires --owner under an org secret key, so this is a breaking re-point.
- Rename the 12 remaining raw-operationId leaves while the major makes it free;
  drop the duplicate snapshots create-snapshot.
- Migrate module path to /v3 in patches, hand-written Go and npm/README.md.
- Remove orphaned docs, add the 3.0.0 changelog entries.
