Add a dedicated responsive layout and stylesheet inspired by the event artwork. Preserve the original content and live embeds, apply the requested content refinements, and use Font Awesome with the original SVG icons available as a fallback.
Travel Support, Hotel, and Official Language now use a single 190px heading column with a 40px gap at all desktop widths. The old 245px column lined the text up with the Registration card when the Dates card sat beside it; with that card gone the offset no longer aligns with anything, and the 1100px override made the text jump as the window narrowed. A small inline script compares the visitor's clock to 11:59 PM MT on December 18, 2026. Once that passes, the topline badge turns red and reads "Registration is closed", and the Register now button becomes an inactive "Registration closed" label. GitHub Pages only rebuilds on push, so this has to happen in the browser rather than in Liquid. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Give
/winter-schoola dedicated responsive design based on the event banner and poster, with an event summary, registration button, poster link, Orbitron wordmarks, and Font Awesome icons. Keep the existing event information and the live Google Maps and agenda embeds, with the requested wording and formatting refinements. The page follows the system light/dark appearance, with a navy and ice-blue dark palette that preserves the artwork and the embeds’ original colors.Hotel gets its own side heading, and Zoom details sit beside the venue address. Location and Zoom paragraphs align with their heading text on desktop and use the full left edge on mobile; Agenda and Transportation paragraphs use the full left edge at every width. Acknowledgements now starts with “This Winter School.” The poster gently enlarges by 4% on mouse hover while keeping its tilt, with reduced-motion preferences respected.
The change is confined to the Winter School Markdown page and three dedicated support files. Shared layouts, shared stylesheets, and other page sources are unchanged. Font Awesome is the sole icon implementation. The original SVG icons at commit
b39f943remain available in Git history if we want to restore them. That commit also contains the former front-matter toggle and layout wiring.Validation
