Why
Every issue opened on this repository starts a workflow that was meant to reply and close the issue, but it calls a shared workflow by a name that no longer exists, so it fails and does nothing. This removes it.
Programme
Standalone change, no programme.
What changes
Before: opening an issue started a workflow that was meant to post a reply pointing to support and close the issue, and the run failed. After: no workflow runs when an issue is opened, and issues stay open until someone handles them, as they already do today. No documentation or changelog entry moves with it.
Linked work
Related: mParticle/mparticle-roku-sdk#65, which removed the same workflow from the Roku SDK.
Rollout
Nothing changes in production; if this is wrong, revert the pull request.
Risks
Risk class: low.
Who
Written by: an SDK engineer working with an automated coding agent (Claude Code), at the engineer's request to remove this workflow from every SDK that still has it.
Code reviewed before opening: an automated review agent reviewed the commit before it was made. No human has reviewed it yet.
Design reviewed before opening: no one.
Decision this implements: none; there is no separate ticket.
Checked: on 2026-10-08, the last three runs, from 2026-02-03 to 2026-04-15, all failed, and no other file in the repository refers to the workflow.
Not checked: nothing further; the change only removes a file.
Size
Hand-written: 1 file removed.
