What changed

  • Update the TypeScript Handbook introduction from "Over 20 years" to "Over 30 years".

Why

JavaScript was introduced in 1995, so the opening line in packages/documentation/copy/en/handbook-v2/The Handbook.md is out of date.

Note: non-English docs are synced in from microsoft/TypeScript-Website-Localizations. PR to update them: microsoft/TypeScript-Website-Localizations#266

Validation

  • Checked the handbook intro locally at /docs/handbook/intro.html.

JavaScript has gotten older.
