PHP powers over 73% of websites on the Internet, making it the most widely used server-side programming language in the world. A language with such impact deserves a website that truly reflects its vitality and influence. That’s why I created the concept PHP is Awesome 🔥.
The goal is to craft a design that's both striking and memorable, while remaining clean, consistent, and sustainable, a design that can evolve and serve the community for years to come. It blends modern aesthetics with php.net established tone (violet), emphasizing clarity, performance, and usability across devices.
The documentation layout is consistent and straightforward, giving developers an effortless way to find everything they need about PHP.
The idea of featuring logos of well-known companies that use PHP in the hero section is to reinforce PHP solid reputation while adding an aspirational touch to inspire new developers.

It would be nice if we could include the PHP's ecosystem like Laravel, Symfony, Wordpress, and more.. because without them, PHP will be long gone.
A section like "PHP Ecosystem" will be really helpful for beginners to navigate userland solutions.

Also on php docs is pretty common to have community comments which help us out to implement since most of them are examples or even teaching something about the php api that is not quite documented.
