    # Extracting old-type PEAKS data
    2
This type of data is used on TVs released in 2010-2013 and on some lower end models in years 2014-2016. It can be easily identified by the data starting with “D50” and kernel bootargs after.

    ## Splitting the file
    4
To process the data, the file should be split into partitions. For that the [`peaks_splitter.py`](https://gist.github.com/theubusu/33bf3abf652d226aebc71a1535f68a72) script can be used.
    5
    Run it: `python peaks_splitter PEAKS.bin out`
