The init script in the Hermes setup guide uses
hermes gateway start, which starts a systemd/launchd service. Inside a box it exits with:hermes gateway runruns the gateway in the foreground (Hermes recommends it for Docker), and backgrounding it with&works as an init script. Tested on a keep-alive box: after killing PID 1 the box came back and the init script started the gateway again.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
