Problem

PHP has two critical vulnerabilities that can let an attacker run code on the server: CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, both rated CVSS 9.2. Every PHP version in these images is affected.

Cause

The images use PHP 8.5.11, 8.4.26, 8.3.35, and 8.2.34. The fixes were released on 2026-10-21 in PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, and 8.2.35.

Solution

Build the images on the fixed PHP releases from the official Docker images. Nothing else in the images changes.

Changes

Validation

  • Each pinned digest is the official multi-platform index for php:<version>-fpm-alpine, and lists linux/amd64 and linux/arm64. Docker Hub and the registry report the same digest for each tag.
  • The release build for this change builds, tests and scans every PHP version and variant.

These releases fix two critical remote code execution vulnerabilities,
CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619. The base image digests follow once the
official images are published for amd64 and arm64.

@csandanov Can you please check again? Original docker images are published on docker hub.

@csandanov I think they are done: 0d0f0d0

Pin the official multi-platform php:<version>-fpm-alpine index digests, each verified to include linux/amd64 and linux/arm64.
