0.4.0 batch 2: model arrivals, What's-new UX, sandbox-root gates, 26 bug fixes - #2022

CM6 keeps only one selection unless EditorState.allowMultipleSelections is set, so the Mod-Alt-Up/Down, Mod-d, and Cmd/Ctrl+Click cursor commands had no effect. The default keymap already binds the keys; baseExtensions now turns the facet on. Layout-dependent vertical placement is verified in a live webview, since happy-dom has no geometry.
Pure clamp/drag/keyboard/storage logic shared by both composers; manifest hashes patched for the new files.
Top-edge drag handle (pointer + ArrowUp/Down, double-click resets) on PromptInput and PromptInputV2; height persists in localStorage. Manifest refreshed for the 4 new overlay files + 2 modified.

Second integration batch for lane/0.4.0. Each branch was built RED→GREEN by an implementer and gated by the director.
New: #2000 model arrivals (catalog diff, watchlist,
GET /amicode/model-arrivals, the New tag in the picker, and the What's-new 'new for you' list). #2020 What's-new page redesign (pinned header and Continue footer, newest card expanded, 'New for you' block, Enter/Esc).Night engine: #2021: the gates drop root for the vitest steps and warn about missing tools, reproduced in a real Modal sandbox (untouched tip GREEN, planted failure RED). The image fix is already merged (amicissimo#548: zip + rsync).

Skipped on purpose: #1251 (the issue records several failed fixes; needs a UI session), #1421 (product decision: drop Copilot or verify the token).
Director gates on the merged tree: drift, typecheck, overlay typecheck and engine typecheck: 0. Extension suite 5793 passed, 6 failed: 5 machine-specific plus 1 chat_bridge clipboard timing flake (passes alone). amico-run 30 failures, all env or load: the clean lane tip fails 9 of the same 5 files under the same load. Conflicts: manifest.json, and one real one in model_reachability.ts (imports from #2000 and #1998; both kept).
